JROTC

Exciting News from our JROTC Program!

Army JROTC Leadership Education Training (LET) courses - LET 1 through LET 4 - have officially been approved as A-G credit courses by the University of California (UC) system.

This means that JROTC classes now count toward the UC’s A-G subject requirements, which are necessary for admission to any UC school. To qualify for UC admission, students must complete 15 yearlong A-G approved courses with a grade of C or better. With this recent approval, our JROTC curriculum now stands alongside core college-preparatory subjects, including History/Social Science, English, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Language, the Arts, and College-Preparatory Electives.

This is a significant milestone that not only highlights the academic value of our JROTC program but also provides our Cadets with an exceptional opportunity to earn college-prep credit while developing essential leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

If you have any questions about how this may impact your Cadet’s academic plan, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re excited to continue supporting our students on their path to college and beyond!
