Hit the greens with fellow Warrior families, alumni, and friends for a day of friendly competition, followed by an evening of celebration - all in support of our incredible Cadets!

After the tournament, relax at Happy Hour with delicious bites and festive drinks before the excitement of the Gala begins. Savor a buffet dinner, bid on exclusive items in our auction - hosted by Hollywood’s own Jesse Shapiro - and snap photos that will cherish the evenings memories in a photo booth. The night will feature music, boogying down on the dance floor, special honors for our Distinguished Warrior Award recipients, and the induction of outstanding athletes into the Elite Athlete Hall of Fame.

There’s a place for everyone to get involved at Warrior Family Weekend! We need volunteers to assist with tournament registration, Happy Hour & Gala setup, silent auction coordination, and more. If you are an ANA parent, alumnus, or community friend, your time and talents will help create a memorable, smooth-running event.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities

• Golf Tournament Support: Help with player check-in, distributing golf carts, and on-course hospitality.
• Gala Setup & Check-In: Assist with venue décor, guest registration, and directing attendees to their tables.
• Auction Coordinators: Organize donated items, manage bid sheets, and support the auctioneer.
• Event Wrap-Up & Teardown: Help collect materials, pack up decorations, and ensure the venue is left in great condition.

General Event Information

When and where is the Gala Weekend taking place?
The Weekend kicks off with the Jon Higgins Annual Golf Tournament & Gala on Friday, March 21, 2025, followed by Warrior Family Weekend events thru Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes! We encourage early registration as space is limited. Sponsorships and individual tickets for the Golf Tournament and Gala are available.

What is the dress code for the Gala?
The Gala is a business casual event, but most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the evening! Whether you prefer to dress up or keep it casual, come as you are and ready to celebrate. This event is all about bringing together friends, family, and our ANA community for a night of connection and lasting memories - not a red carpet affair, but a special gathering filled with warmth and camaraderie.

Sponsorship packages include exclusive benefits like reserved seating, complimentary golf entries, and brand recognition. 

What types of auction donations are accepted?
We welcome gift certificates, gift baskets, vacation packages, exclusive experiences, sports memorabilia, and more! All proceeds directly support our Cadets. Donations must be coordinated by March 14, 2025.

Golf Tournament

Where is the Golf Tournament being held?
The Jon Higgins Annual Golf Tournament takes place at The Links at Lakehouse in San Marcos, CA on Friday, March 21, 2025.

What is included with my golf registration?
Each golfer receives green fees, a cart, and tournament swag!

What time does the tournament start?
Check-In time is at 12:00pm.

Event Logistics

Where should I park for the event?
Free parking is available around campus & at The Links at Lakehouse.

Are there hotel accommodations nearby?
Yes! We recommend booking early as possible. Please see our hotel recommendations HERE.

What can I expect at the Gala dinner?
Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner with a variety of delicious options, an open bar, along with a live and silent auction, music, and special recognitions for our Distinguished Warrior Award recipients and Elite Athlete Hall of Fame inductees.

Will there be a photographer at the event?
Yes! A photo booth and event photographer will be on-site to capture special moments.
