Warrior Families,

Don't forget that tonight, from 5:00-6:00 pm Pacific, we're hosting another ANAPA Town Hall meeting to share updates on the Academy's leadership transition plan. Please join us via Google Meeting or on-site in the Warrior Room upstairs inside Duffield Gym.

This week was packed full of activities, including snowball fights on Monday afternoon. Yes, you heard that right! Thanks to ANAPA leadership, it was snowing on campus. Santa and the Grinch even joined the fun as Cadets, faculty, and staff lobbed snowballs at each other and laughed over hot cups of cocoa. After the snow, our Atkinson Warrior Band performed for the annual Christmas concert and dinner. It was spectacular! Pictures of the concert are available here and you can access the recording of the livestream on our YouTube channel here.

More exciting news came from our Aviation Builders Club, who received their Kitfox Aircraft delivery last night to Hangar 18 at Oceanside Municipal Airport. Warrior Aviation is officially building a plane! They will spend the next four years assembling and documenting the build. Once completed, the plane will be flown over ANA during the boy's graduation ceremony, marking the incredible work they've done and all they learned in the process.

Warrior Soccer would like to welcome their new head coach Cobi Black, originally from Kansas. Cobi has played soccer most of his life and has a passion for teaching the game he loves. He is also a club coach with FC Golden State San Diego and trains locals while still playing professionally.

Another major announcement is Coach Kyle Gardner has stepped in as interim coach of the Warrior Wrestling program. Kyle has an extensive background in the sport, wrestling for Crescent Valley where he was a 3x all-state wrestler. Kyle, while running our strength program at the academy, currently trains with professionals Troy Rollins, Tod Medina, and Joey Beltran who are all world-class wrestlers and MMA fighters.

Congratulations to Tristen Hoag and Antonio Acuna, both taking top-five finishes at the Granite Hills Invitational this past Saturday. Warrior Wrestling finished 2-0 this past week, beating El Cajon Valley and crosstown rival Sage Creek, losing by one point to Fallbrook. The Warriors look to bounce back this weekend at the Mira Mesa Invitational.

Warrior Basketball is now 4-2 after defeating Morse High School 56-35. They've been playing in the Capistrano Valley Christian tournament this week which ends Saturday. The team looks to finish the year strong with one home game left against Vincent Memorial on December 19 at 5:00 pm.

Nehemiah Brunson Jr. will be playing in the Alex Spanos All-Star Class over winter break.

Below is the final exam schedule for the week of December 16. Cadets can depart campus for the winter vacation on December 18 after 3:30 pm. If you have any questions or need special accommodation, please email Dean Zary or Assistant Dean Ramirez.
