During this season of new beginnings, one often reflects on the moments from the past year for which one is most thankful. Friends and family come to mind, but all of us at ANA are reminded of how grateful we are for our Cadets and our community.

As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome a new year, we want to thank you for choosing the Army and Navy Academy for your son’s education.  We look forward to supporting your Cadets in 2025 in academics, athletics, and leadership. Please remember that all are to be back on campus Monday, January 6, by 8:00 pm for classes to resume on January 7. Mandatory "New Cadet" training is during the closed weekend of January 10-12, 2025.

The Academy is excited to inform you that Anderson Hall will be undergoing major renovations in the coming weeks. These upgrades are part of our ongoing efforts to improve the facilities and enhance the overall experience for all Cadets at ANA. However, these renovations will directly impact Bravo and Charlie Companies, and possibly Flight Company, due to the nature of the work being done.  The renovations to the rooms in Anderson Hall will include new windows, light fixtures, floors, and furniture.

Key Details:

• Start Date: January 8, 2025
• Duration: Each quad will take approximately 3 weeks to complete and the team will renovate two quads at a time.
• Impact Areas: Bravo and Charlie Companies will experience disruption in housing, and common areas. Flight Company may also see limited effects depending on the timing and specific areas of construction. Flight Company would be affected if we have to move Bravo or Charlie Company Cadets into their area.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience for the Cadets, and we are working to minimize any disruption to your academic requirements. Further information, including relocation details, will be provided as the renovation timeline progresses.

Warrior Basketball opens up the year with games on Friday, January 3 played at Bostonia High School against Foothills Christian at 6 pm and Jan 4 at HOME vs Oceanside High at 3 pm.  All home games are streamed live on our YouTube channel here.

Warrior Wrestling is set to have a busy winter, which is being kicked off by two wrestlers, Antonio Acuna and Tristen Hoag, competing on Saturday, January 4 at the Grizzly Invitational at Mission Hills High School.

UPCOMING DATES TO REMEMBER

• Jan 6 - Returning Cadets on campus by 8:00 pm.  Classes resume January 7.
• Jan 10 - New Cadets begin classes.
• Jan 10-12 - Closed weekend for New Cadet Training.
• Jan 20 - Martin Luther King Jr. day - no school.
• Feb 14 - End of Grading Period 4.
• Feb 17 - Washington's Birthday - no school.
