Army and Navy Academy Recognized as a Gurian Center for Educational Excellence!
This prestigious recognition from the Gurian Institute reflects our commitment to providing an environment where boys thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally — by using science-backed strategies designed specifically for how boys' brains develop and learn best.
As Academy President Barry Shreiar notes, “Virtues-based education helps young men to develop resilience in the face of life’s many challenges. We teach our Cadets to live our Core Values every day and in every interaction.”
Mr. Shreiar recently joined Michael Gurian on the Wonder of Parenting podcast to discuss the Academy’s innovative approach to boys' education and the importance of virtues in shaping tomorrow’s leaders.
